Project Overview

The Al-Noor Medical Center is a specialized 12-story healthcare facility located in the bustling Nasirabad area of Chattogram. As a critical care environment, the building required a vertical transportation system that prioritized smooth acceleration, precise leveling, and enough cabin depth to accommodate modern intensive care stretchers and medical teams.

The Challenge

In a hospital environment, every second counts. The primary challenge was ensuring that the elevators could transition between floors without any "jolting" that might disturb sensitive patients. Additionally, the building needed a sophisticated "Emergency Priority" system that allows medical staff to override general calls during a Code Blue or trauma transport.

Our Solution

We installed 3 heavy-duty KOYO Bed Lifts, specifically engineered for the rigorous demands of a 24/7 medical facility. Our implementation focused on hygiene, reliability, and precision:

Precise Leveling: We utilized advanced Micro-leveling Technology to ensure the elevator floor meets the building floor with 0mm deviation, allowing stretchers and wheelchairs to roll in and out without any bumps.
Medical Priority Control: Each unit is equipped with a Non-stop Emergency Bypass switch, giving doctors immediate control to travel directly to surgery or ER floors during critical emergencies.
Hygiene-First Design: The interiors feature Medical-Grade Stainless Steel walls and specialized antibacterial PVC flooring, designed to withstand heavy chemical cleaning and prevent the spread of hospital-acquired infections.
Extended Door Dwell: To facilitate safe patient transfer, we integrated adjustable infrared door sensors that keep the doors open longer when a stretcher is detected, preventing accidental closure during slow movements.
